How to reach the Hotels in Vietri sul Mare (Salerno)

You will probably arrive by airplane either at Rome Airport (Leonardo da Vinci) or at Naples Airport (Capodichino). In both case you will find hereafter the instructions [A or B, respectively] to reach by train the Salerno Railway Station (Salerno). If you arrive by bus in Naples, you can directly read instruction B2.

Once in Salerno you may reach Hotel La Lucertola by bus. The Hotel is actually located in Marina di Vietri, near the sea, whilst Vietri sul Mare is on the side of the mountain. Therefore, you need to follow two steps:

- first, take bus n. 4 or bus n. 9 from Salerno Railway Station to the second stop in Vietri (close to "Piazza Matteotti" (Matteotti Square)). You should buy the ticket ("UNICO Salerno", also called "urbano", 0.80) at the railway station's newsagent or at the CSTP office, and stamp it on the bus.

- then, take the bus n. 68 to Marina di Vietri from "Piazza Matteotti" in Vietri. Get down just in front of the Hotel "La Lucertola" (actually before entering Marina di Vietri). As the ticket is valid for 90 minutes, you don't need another ticket.

Another possibility is to take a taxi at the cost of about 12 from Salerno Railway Station Square directly to the Hotel.
